Measuring Your Dogs Neck Size
Our harnesses slip over your dog’s head. Using a flexible tape measure, ensure you take the measurement from the lowest part of the neck passing around the breast-bone back to the starting point [A-B].

Measuring The Back Length Of Your Dog
Using your flexible tape measure, measure along your dogs back bone from the base of the neck, where the collar will sit, to around middle of the shoulders [A-C]. 

Measuring Your Dogs Chest Size
Using your flexible tape measure, measure right around the deepest part of your dogs chest, just behind the front legs [C-D].

Measuring The Underbelly Of Your Dog
Using your flexible tape measure, measure from the breast bone, down the underbelly, to just behind the front legs [B-D].

When possible to do so, it is advisable to send a few photos of your dog, from the front, the side and the top. This allows us to compare your measurements to the images you have provided, ensuring we produce the perfect fit for its forever home. Send your photos to support@thetailsclub.com. 

If ordering for a dog who has some growing left, please note this at checkout and specify your preferred measurement accordingly.

Paracord is durable and fast drying meaning it has the advantage of not being tainted easily by weather. Our products can therefore be cleaned very easily. For optimum results, we recommend soaking your paracord in warm water with a gentle wool detergent for 1-2 hours. It can also be washed in the washing machine at 30°C on the delicates or hand wash setting. We suggest placing the products in a wash bag whilst washing as this will minimise damage to the hardware. 

Biothane® has waterproof properties, meaning it rarely looks dirty. However, we understand not all dog walks are glamorous. Taking care of your harness and lead, is as simple as wiping down with a wet cloth, or washing it with soapy water and hanging it to dry. 

All of our products are 100% vegan, non-toxic and safe for both humans and animals. 

Please note that frequent washing can cause the colour intensity to fade.
